Kira Klapper is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting. Since September 2014, Kira has served as a Weekend Morning Anchor and Saturday Morning News Anchor at NBC Bay Area. Prior experience includes a role as a Media Consultant at Nextdoor, Inc., and positions at ABC News as a general assignment reporter and substitute anchor. Kira has also worked as an Evening News Anchor, Reporter, and Producer at GOCOM Media of Northern California, as well as in various capacities at KEYT NewsChannel 3, KEYC News Now, and CBS News. Kira began the career as a Production Assistant at ABC News and has experience as a News Editorial Assistant at NPR. Kira holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University, emphasizing Broadcast Journalism and Spanish.
