Julie Dunphy

Julie Dunphy is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. since January 2020. Prior to this role, Julie worked at WTAP from March 2017 to January 2020 as an Evening Anchor and Producer, alongside reporting for the weekday Marietta, Ohio Bureau. Julie began a career in media with an internship in the News Department at CBS21 WHP-TV in 2015, where news story ideas were developed and pitched. Before entering the media field, Julie held positions at the YMCA of Greater Brandywine as Aquatics Coordinator and Head Lifeguard, focusing on program development and member engagement. Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from York College of Pennsylvania in 2016.
