Marcus Washington

Marcus Washington is a seasoned news professional with extensive experience in broadcast journalism. Currently serving as the Morning and Midday News Anchor for NBC Bay Area since July 2017, Marcus anchors the program "Today In The Bay" starting at 4:30 a.m. Prior roles include serving as a television news anchor/reporter at WJZ-TV from 2014 to 2017, and as a television news reporter at WTVF NewsChannel 5 (2008-2014), KOKI FOX23 (2006-2008), and Gray Television, Inc. d.b.a. Charlottesville Newsplex (2005-2006). Marcus began a career in journalism as an associate producer at WREG-TV from November 2004 to March 2005. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Communications degree in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Memphis.
