Jacob Wheeler

Jacob Wheeler is an emerging broadcast journalism professional with a wealth of experience across prominent media organizations. Currently serving as a Political News Intern at NBCLA, responsibilities include assisting the Chief Political Reporter with television news packages and contributing to NBC Olympics coverage. Previously, Jacob held roles at USC Annenberg Media as an ATVN News Anchor and Reporter, where coverage of the 2022 midterm elections garnered recognition from the LA Press Club. Other internship experiences encompass positions at CNN's "Erin Burnett OutFront," NBC Nightly News, and KTXL FOX40 News, highlighting skills in video production, content management, and digital article writing. Jacob is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Southern California, expected to graduate in 2025.
