Kate Hovan

Kate Hovan is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Multiplatform Manager and Content Producer at NBCLA since November 2021. Prior roles include Producer and Associate Producer at NBC 6 South Florida from March 2019 to November 2021, and Associate Producer/Producer at News 12 New Jersey from June 2018 to March 2019. Kate's career in media began with an Editorial Internship/Special Projects role at News 12 New Jersey in 2017. Earlier experience includes working as a Hostess and Server at Buckalew's Restaurant and Tavern in the summer of 2016. Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Miami, where studies were completed between 2015 and 2018, and attended Fordham University from 2014 to 2015.
