Erica Byfield

Erica Byfield is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU Stern School of Business, starting in September 2024, where Erica develops and delivers Management Communication courses that explore the intersection of organizational communication and various media. With extensive experience in journalism, Erica has served as a General Assignment Reporter for NBC New York since September 2016, and previously held similar positions at WSB-TV, KMOV-TV, and KFVS-TV. Erica holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a Master of Arts in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University, complemented by a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
