Jake Schoenmann is an experienced photojournalist and video producer with a diverse background in broadcasting and media production. Currently employed at NBC Washington since February 2020, Jake previously served as a staff photojournalist at WJLA-TV from February 2018 to 2020. Freelance work includes a role as Director of Photography for Edutopia, where collaboration involved creating segments on award-winning schools, and contributions to the National Automobile Dealers Association in video production and editing. Jake’s extensive freelance history also encompasses sports coverage for WJLA-TV and production work for major networks such as ESPN, NBC, and TLC. Jake holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from George Mason University.
