Katie Leslie is an accomplished investigative producer for NBC Washington's News4 I-Team, specializing in off-camera coordination, reporting, editing, and writing investigations into wrongdoing since July 2018. Prior to this role, Katie served as a Washington correspondent for The Dallas Morning News, focusing on congressional news and Texas politics from March 2016 to June 2018. From 2007 to February 2016, Katie worked for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, covering Atlanta City Hall and local politics, and held various reporting positions, including front-page and features reporter. Additional experience includes roles at WSB Radio and The Frederick News-Post, focusing on health and general assignment reporting. Katie holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Journalism from New York University.
