Mayra Garcia-Egan

Mayra Garcia-Egan currently serves as Vice President of Global Talent Development & Inclusion at NBCUniversal since February 2025. Prior experience includes working as a Leadership Development Consultant at Ford Motor Company from September 2021 to December 2022, where strategic initiatives were implemented to enhance executive development amid the company's shift towards electric vehicles. At American Express, a tenure from 2003 to 2019 included various leadership roles, where accomplishments such as the creation of the American Express Leadership Academy and the launch of the Innovation “Hackathon” Challenge were recognized with a Chairman's Award. Additional experience includes roles at Duke Corporate Education and Columbia Business School, focusing on customized executive education programs, as well as early career roles at AT&T and American Express focused on leadership and financial operations. Mayra Garcia-Egan holds a Master of Arts in Spanish Literature from Middlebury College and a BA in Multinational Organization Studies from St. Mary's University.
