Josh Mcgee

Josh McGee currently serves as the Deputy Director of Community Engagement at NC Child since January 2024. Previously, Josh worked as an Associate Policy Analyst at The Hunt Institute from February 2022 to January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as the Coordinator for Science Education Outreach at Campbell University from November 2021 to February 2022, and holding positions as a Legislative Specialist and Legislative Assistant at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction from February 2019 to July 2021. Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government with a focus on Public Policy from North Carolina State University between 2018 and 2020, and a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington from June 2021 to May 2023.
