Mark Bacon

Mark Bacon has an extensive background in coaching, project management, and business development. Currently serving as a Cycling Coach (Volunteer) for The Ability Experience since April 2019, Mark provides coaching and safety training for cyclists participating in summer programs. In addition, as a Project Team Coach for the NC Rural Center since April 2018, Mark delivers leadership training aimed at fostering economic growth in diverse regions. Mark has been the Business Development Director and Grant Writer at Engineering Services, PA since February 1999, where successes include securing nearly $99 million through 215 grants and loans for various initiatives. Prior experience includes roles in technical writing and project management with several organizations. Mark holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in English Language & Literature from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
