Niclas Marmborg

Niclas Marmborg has a diverse work experience in design management, VDC, process leadership, and BIM coordination/strategy. Niclas has worked as the Head of Design Management & VDC at NCC since October 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Leading Technical Specialist and Process Leader in Design Management at NCC from February 2017. Niclas worked as a BIM Coordinator/Strateg at Sweco from January 2010 to February 2017. Niclas also had the opportunity to be a BIM Strateg at Nya tunnelbanan from August 2014 to December 2016, where they were responsible for procurement, development of document platforms, and setting guidelines for BIM deliverables. In addition, they provided project management support at Trafikverket from February 2014 to August 2015, focusing on technical support, information management, and structuring. Niclas Marmborg holds a Master of Science degree from Kungliga tekniska högskolan, which they completed from August 2004 to December 2009.

Niclas Marmborg completed an internship in leadership at Sweco in 2015. Niclas also obtained a Civilingenjörsexamen degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, although the specific dates of their enrollment are unknown. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci and as VDC from Stanford University in 2021 and 2017 respectively.
