William E. Donnell

William E. Donnell is the current Director at NCCI. William has over fifteen years of experience in the insurance industry, holding various leadership positions during that time.

Previously, they were the President US P&C Reinsurance at Swiss Re from June 2006 to November 2015. In that role, they led the US P&C Treaty and Facultative reinsurance businesses, as well as the SRAC legal entity.

Before joining Swiss Re, they were the Chief Marketing Officer at GE Insurance Solutions from August 2000 to June 2006. In that role, they led global strategy, branding, marketing communications and customer experience functions.

William E. Donnell has a proven track record of success in the insurance industry, and is poised to continue making a positive impact in their current role at NCCI.

William E. Donnell holds a B.S. in Business Management and Labor Relations from Colorado State University. William also has an Executive Leadership Program in Strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. In addition, they are certified from The Institutes CPCU Society in CPCU and ARM, as well as from NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) in Governance Fellow.
