Ramesh Iyer

Ramesh Iyer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ramesh has held various roles in different companies. Ramesh started their career as a Finance Officer in Mukand Ltd in 1997. Ramesh then worked as an Assistant Manager in National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), where they were responsible for monitoring the dematerialization process of securities. In 2003, they joined HDFC Life as a Business Analyst, contributing to the improvement of operational processes. From 2004 to 2015, they worked at NCDEX as Vice President, leading the introduction and development of spot, forward, and derivatives contracts for non-agricultural commodities. In 2016, they served as Vice President at Tradologie.com. Ramesh then joined INDIAN COMMODITY EXCHANGE LTD (ICEX) in 2017 as Deputy Vice President, playing a crucial role in designing and launching new commodity products. Ramesh later became the Chief General Manager of Supply Chain Solutions at Origo Commodities India Pvt Ltd. Currently, Ramesh Iyer holds the position of Senior Vice President - Business Development and Head - Non Agri Products at NCDEX.

Ramesh Iyer obtained a CFA and PGDBA degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from ICFAI Business School from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Metallurgical Engineering from COEP Technological University, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. In 1990, they completed their HSC education at Ramnarain Ruia College in Mumbai. Ramesh'ssecondary education (SSC) was obtained from Fatima High School in Vidyavihar, Mumbai in 1989.
