Manager Education Services at nCloud Integrators

Bethany Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bethany is currently serving as the Manager of Education Services at nCloud Integrators since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Anthology Inc as a Senior Education and Training Specialist from August 2021 to February 2022, and as a Senior Adoption Consultant from July 2020 to August 2021. Bethany also worked at Campus Labs as a Campus Adoption Consultant from June 2019 to July 2020.

Before transitioning into the education industry, Bethany served as a Project Manager at The Center for Serve Learn Sustain from May 2017 to June 2019. In this role, they managed the development of the Teaching Toolkit, allocated grant funding, and reported on workplans and project statuses to the department Director. Bethany utilized their interpersonal communication and networking skills to effectively market tools and increase their usefulness across populations.

Bethany's career began as a Marion L Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2016 to June 2019. During this time, they taught courses on African American history, intersectionality, and histories of social justice. Bethany also served on the Diversity Working Group and pursued personal research on contemporary black women's literature and music.

Prior to their work at Georgia Tech, Bethany worked as a Communication Instructor at the University of Oregon from September 2008 to June 2016. In this role, they instructed a large number of students in first-year writing and served on the Curriculum Development committee. Bethany also mentored first-year teachers through one-on-one sessions, class evaluations, and workshops. Additionally, they produced and edited two course readers on Free Speech and Social Justice Histories.

Before entering the academic field, Bethany gained experience in construction as an Office Manager at Medinger Construction from February 2006 to December 2007. Bethany assisted the company president in articulating and achieving a company vision and played a key role in managing payroll, accounts payable and receivable, as well as vendor/client relationships. Bethany also collaborated closely with the president and project managers on multiple commercial and residential projects with substantial budgets.

Overall, Bethany Jacobs has accumulated a wide range of skills and expertise throughout their varied work experience in education, project management, and office administration.

Bethany Jacobs obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Westmont College from 2001 to 2005. Bethany further pursued their education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in English from the University of Oregon from 2008 to 2014. In November 2017, Bethany also obtained a certification in Human-Centered Design from UC San Diego.
