LaShawne Meriwether is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for NCR Atleos.

LaShawne is an experienced Chief Human Resources Officer who has led and overseen all aspects of HR and has served in roles of increasing responsibility. LaShawne has worked in functional HR roles for global public companies including Tyco, Timberland and Exterran and brings a strong foundation in leading total rewards. A true HR generalist, LaShawne grew up in HR functions from early in her career, including as a compensation & benefits manager for NCR from 1997 to 2002.

A native of Ohio, LaShawne attended Wright State University where she received her undergraduate degree in math. After graduating, she moved to Houston and spent her earlier career at KPMG, NCR and Waste Management working in HR roles focused on compensation and benefits. In 2004, she was recruited to Tyco to lead a division of its total rewards department. After almost two years with the company, Tyco relocated and LaShawne found a role with Timberland leading their Total Rewards program. She continued to lead the total rewards department working for C&S Wholesale and oversees the function as the head of the HR department in her most recent roles at Jabil.

Over the last four years at Jabil, LaShawne has led and overseen all aspects of HR and has served in roles of increasing responsibility. Jabil afforded LaShawne the opportunity to continue in her expanded HR role and work in a larger global technology business. In the role, she served as division CHRO for Jabil’s packaging solutions company. There she had a global generalist remit with her division working in Mexico, China and the U.S. After nearly four years in the role, she took on the VP Talent, Diversity and Community role and served as much like a Chief Talent Officer for the Jabil business. In 2021, LaShawne was selected for the role of CHRO.

LaShawne brings strong stakeholder experience engaging and influencing executive leadership and the Board as well as overseeing teams. In various roles throughout her career, she reported to the Board advising on compensation and hiring matters. In addition, she has led large global teams of HR professionals.
