Heather Mueller

Heather Mueller has a diverse work experience in the field of intellectual property and product strategy. Heather has held executive positions, including Executive Vice President of Product Strategy and Executive Vice President of Intellectual Property at NCS Multistage. Prior to that, they worked as a Director of Intellectual Property at the same company. Heather also gained valuable experience as a Patent Agent at Suncor Energy and as an Associate at Burnet Duckworth & Palmer LLP. Before that, they worked as a Patent Agent/Principal at Mueller Intellectual Property and as an Associate at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Heather started their career as an Intellectual Property Manager at the University of Manitoba and as a Business Development Analyst at Cangene Corporation.

Heather Mueller holds a Master's degree in Science from the University of Manitoba, which they obtained between 1997 and 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Science at the same institution from 1994 to 1997. Recently, in 2021 and 2022, Heather participated in the ESG Certification Program offered by Envision Group International and the Innovation Governance Program organized by the Council of Canadian Innovators, respectively. In 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Management Essentials - Executive Education Program at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta.
