Jérôme Rickmann

Jérôme Rickmann is a seasoned professional in higher education with extensive experience in global engagement and internationalization. Currently serving as Senior Advisor in Global Engagement at Aalto University, Jérôme leads the Finnish-American Research & Innovation Accelerator project, focusing on enhancing Finnish RDI networks in the US. Additionally, Jérôme holds the role of Contributing Editor for NCURA's magazine, targeting European research management. As an independent researcher and consultant, Jérôme specializes in science diplomacy, internationalization, diversity, equity, and inclusion, along with global market insights. Previous positions include Head of Global Insights & Engagement Strategies at Finland University, and Director of International Talent Acquisition & Project Development at EBC Hochschule, among others. Jérôme holds a PhD in Internationalisation of Higher Education from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and multiple degrees from Technische Universität Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
