Paulo Quadri Barba

Paulo Quadri Barba is an experienced professional in project management and conservation, currently serving as Latin America Project Manager at NCX since August 2021. Previously, Paulo held the position of Conservation Director at Sky Island Alliance from July 2020 to August 2021. Academic roles include Research Affiliate at the University of Vermont and Lecturer in Tropical Ecology and Conservation at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Paulo completed a PhD at UC Santa Cruz between October 2012 and December 2018 and earned a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, earlier roles include Project Manager and Project Specialist positions at the National Commission of Protected Areas. Paulo holds a degree in Communication and Social Sciences from Universidad de las Américas Puebla, specializing in the sociology of community risk perception and volcanic eruptions.
