Aditya Chincholkar

Aditya Chincholkar is a nuclear physicist who currently works at the National Database and Retrieval System (NDB). Aditya has previous experience working as a lecturer at the Mody University of Science and Technology, as well as an intern at SUBATECH.

Chincholkar's work at SUBATECH focused on the study of solubility and dissolution of zirconium in alkaline mediums. Aditya was responsible for developing a suitable solid/solution separation method in the laboratory, determining the concentration of zirconium from dissolution experiments, and determining the speciation of zirconium in the medium using PHREEQC software.

At NDB, Chincholkar is responsible for managing the database of nuclear weapons test data. Aditya is also responsible for providing technical support to users of the database, as well as developing new features and functionality for the database.

Aditya Chincholkar has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, a Master of Science (MSc) in Nuclear Engineering from IMT Atlantique, and a Master's degree in Nuclear Science and Technology from Pandit Deendayal Energy University.
