Melissa Pastrano

Director, Global Marketing at NDT Global

Melissa Pastrano has held various marketing and communications roles throughout their career. Melissa started as a Marketing Communications Specialist at National Oilwell Varco in 2002 and later became a Manager of Marketing Communications at Baker Hughes in 2005. At Baker Hughes, they were responsible for enhancing internal and external communications using digital technologies. Melissa then transitioned to become a Digital Communications and Social Media Manager at Baker Hughes in 2009, where they project managed the introduction of a new external website.

In 2012, Melissa joined National Oilwell Varco again, this time as the Director of Marketing Communications. In this role, they directed the execution of internal and external marketing communications efforts and built marketing programs and brand identities for two new business units. Most recently, Melissa worked as the Director of Digital Marketing at National Oilwell Varco, starting in 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic execution of digital marketing initiatives and led the redesign of the company's website, resulting in significant increases in pageviews and average time on page.

In 2020, Melissa joined NDT Global as the Director of Global Marketing.

Melissa Pastrano completed their undergraduate education from Texas A&M University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a minor in Business Administration. Melissa attended this institution from 1999 to 2001. Later, they enrolled in the Sales Leadership Program at Purdue University, where they studied from an unspecified start year until 2014.
