Telma Pinto Santos

Telma Pinto Santos is an experienced structural engineer with a strong background in seismic assessments and retrofitting of existing structures, as well as designing new building structures. Currently serving as a Technical Manager at Norman Disney & Young since May 2022, Telma has previously held roles including Principal Structural Engineer at Calibre and AECOM, and Structural Consultant at Jacobs. Telma's career includes significant contributions to the Christchurch earthquake recovery programme and involvement in special structures related to nuclear defense and power generation during tenure at Halcrow. Education includes a BSc MEng in Structural/Earthquake Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
