Athanasia Efstathiou

Athanasia (Nancy) Efstathiou is an experienced educator currently serving as a University Instructor at Neapolis University Pafos since May 2018 and a Teacher of English as a foreign language to visually impaired children at the Hellenic Ministry of Education since September 2008. An accomplished professional with a background in special education, Athanasia has held various teaching roles, including State examiner for students with special needs at KPG and remedial tutoring for elementary students with special learning needs at George Zois Private School. Additional experience includes teaching English for Specific Purposes at Public Institutes of Vocational Training and adult education. Athanasia possesses a diverse educational background, holding multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Teaching English to visually impaired students and advanced studies in psychology. Ongoing education efforts include a degree in systemic psychotherapy and studies at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
