Petro Semeniuk

Petro Semeniuk has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Petro worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Neara since October 2019. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Digital Asset from June 2017 to September 2019. Petro also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Atlassian from July 2013 to June 2017, where they were responsible for rolling out new features and optimizing performance for the Confluence project. Petro also worked as a Software Engineer at NBN Co Limited from April 2011 to July 2013, where they developed features for the Service Portal project. Petro gained experience as a Software Engineer at Macquarie Bank from October 2010 to April 2011 in data migration. Petro started their career at SoftServe in June 2005 and contributed to various projects including the Zilliant Precision Pricing Software and the Internal Assessment Engine.

Petro Semeniuk completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Applied Mathematics and Informatics at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv from 2001 to 2005. Petro then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science with the same concentration at the same university from 2005 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Petro also obtained several certifications. Petro completed the "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1" course from Coursera in August 2013, the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course from Coursera in November 2012, and became a Certified Scrum Professional in June 2011 through Alistair Cockburn, Scrum Alliance.
