Erik is a multifaceted developer with 15+ years of experience specialized in MERN and LAMP stacks, has deep experience in Javascript and PHP, AWS cloud technology, and mobile & web application development. Prior to joining Nearby Creative, Erik founded and managed his own software consultancy for many years from Pittsburgh, PA. In his career he has served as a lead engineer and engineering manager, built hundreds of applications from the ground up, and architected both front-end and back-end systems for small businesses to large enterprises. Erik is a notable force who regularly churns new products quickly, optimizes for performance, is an expert at debugging complex systems, and produces dynamic and bespoke software functionality.
