Roland Van Vliet

Roland van Vliet is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor and instrumentation sectors. Currently serving as Chief Partnership Officer, Chief of Staff, COO, and CEO/COO at Nearfield Instruments B.V. since January 2016, Roland specializes in High-Throughput Scanning Probe Microscopy technology for semiconductor device development. Prior to this, Roland held various leadership roles at TNO from September 2001 to December 2015, including Director of Semiconductor Equipment, where responsibilities encompassed strategic roadmaps, budget allocation, customer satisfaction, and managing a business development team. Roland's educational background includes an Executive Master's in Business Innovation and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Amsterdam.
