Keith Madsen

Keith Madsen has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Keith is currently working as a Technical Director, Product and Platforms at NearForm since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as an SVP, Senior Cloud Architect, and Strategic Platforms at Bank of America from September 2019 to July 2021. From October 2015 to September 2019, Keith worked at buildit as a Platform Engineering Lead/Transformation Director. Keith also had a brief stint at KPMG Ireland as an IT Management Consultant Manager from June 2015 to October 2015. Keith started their career at Accenture as a Software Engineering Senior Analyst from March 2014 to June 2015. Before that, Keith worked at Daon as a Senior Technical Consultant/Software Engineer from November 2009 to March 2014, where they gained expertise in biometric identity management projects. Keith began their professional journey as a Software Engineer at eDuce Ireland Ltd from March 2007 to November 2009, where they contributed to the development of various software applications for clients in the construction industry.

Keith Madsen obtained an Honours Degree in Computing from Technological University Dublin, specializing in Computer Science, from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. These certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, obtained in September 2021; DataStax Certified Professional on DataStax Enterprise from DataStax, obtained in February 2017; Certified Biometrics Professional from IEEE, obtained in June 2013; and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp, obtained in July 2021.
