Tianxiang Liu

Tianxiang (Ivan) Liu is an experienced technology leader specializing in machine learning operations, infrastructure, and engineering. Currently serving as the Senior Director of ML Ops at Nearmap, Tianxiang is responsible for the design and operation of critical production ML systems. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Manager at Atlassian, where strategic AI/ML initiatives were led across the APAC region, and Director of Engineering at Rokt, focusing on scaling e-commerce intelligence. As Co-Founder and CTO of Trendii, Tianxiang developed the technology and strategy for a universal image shopping platform. With previous experience at ANZ, Coles, and Servian, Tianxiang has built and led diverse teams in data science and advanced analytics, complemented by education from Stanford University and Monash University in business administration and information systems.
