Roberto Sahagun

Roberto Sahagun has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Roberto most recently worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at NearShore Technology starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they were a PTD NPI Management Assistant at GPV from November 2020 to October 2021.

From 2015 to 2020, Roberto worked at ModusLink, where they held the role of NPI Coordination. In this role, they were responsible for project quotation, maintenance, and New Product Introduction. Roberto also played a key role in supplier development and approval for new AVL components, ensuring high quality and low price rates.

Before ModusLink, Roberto worked at Sanmina-SCI from 2008 to 2015. Roberto held various roles during their tenure, including Sr. Product Engineer, Product Engineer, and Product Associate Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for analyzing and processing customer changes, managing BOM loading and part numbers creation, and ensuring compliance with RoHS and Reach declarations. Roberto also collaborated with customers to clarify directions and agree on implementation methods for changes.

Prior to Sanmina-SCI, Roberto worked at Solectron in 2006 as a Process Associate Engineer. In this role, they were involved in programming machines, setting up reflow ovens and wave solder machines, and designing Poka Yoke solutions in fixtures and tooling used on the production line.

Roberto Sahagun obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from the Universidad del Valle de México from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad de Guadalajara from 2001 to 2006. In addition, they received advanced English education from the Instituto Cultural Mexicano Norteamericano from 2003 to 2004. Roberto Sahagun also holds a certification in LED Solid State Lighting, although the specific details regarding when and where they obtained it are not provided.
