Jacob Rubensson

Jacob Rubensson has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Produktsjef/Forretningsutveckler Energi at NEAS since August 2025. Prior to this role, Jacob worked as an Optimerare at Kraftringen, focusing on production planning for energy systems and conducting modeling and analysis from August 2021 to June 2025. Jacob also spent nearly seven years at Energy Opticon AB, where work included leadership as Operations Manager and diverse responsibilities as an Energy Engineer, encompassing system modeling, project management, and process evaluation. An academic foundation was established with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, and Jacob completed a master thesis in collaboration with Energy Opticon AB and Öresundskraft AB, analyzing the economic optimization of district heating networks. Earlier roles included positions as a Driftoperatör at Öresundskraft AB and as a Maskinoperatör and Personal Assistant in various capacities, enhancing a robust background in engineering and operations within the energy field.
