Lisa Buckmiller

Lisa Buckmiller is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community management and project management, currently serving as the Head of Community Management at nebenan.de since November 2021. Prior to this role, Lisa spent over six years at Wayfair in various capacities, including Project Manager for Brand Experience & Homepage, where homepage strategy and execution were overseen for Wayfair’s DE and UK sites. Additional positions at Wayfair involved leadership in customer strategy and site merchandising for furniture categories, highlighting expertise in customer analytics and engagement. Early career experiences include teaching German language classes at Goethe Institut Boston and Boston University, alongside internships in translation and art research. Lisa holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and International Communication from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in British and American Studies & French from the University of Mannheim.
