Alison Uecker

Alison Uecker is currently a Law Clerk at Nebraska Appleseed, with past experience as a Schmid Research Fellow at the University of Nebraska College of Law. Prior roles include serving as an Economic Assistance Benefits Specialist at the South Dakota Department of Social Services, where Alison analyzed life circumstances and processed eligibility for various welfare programs, and as an Americorps Member at City Year Denver, providing math support to middle school students. Additional experience involves a Practicum at the Nebraska Court Improvement Project, focusing on juvenile justice policy enhancements, and previous internships at the South Dakota Department of Social Services and the Coalition for a Strong Nebraska. Alison Uecker is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of Nebraska College of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
