Kim Anderson

Kim Anderson has a strong background in non-profit organizations, specifically in the areas of child services and adoption. Kim began their career in 1994 at Catholic Charities, where they worked in various roles within children's services until 2004. Kim then moved on to the Nebraska Children's Home Society, where they held the position of Pregnancy, Parenting & Adoption Program Director from 2004 to 2017. In October 2017, they were promoted to the role of Chief Program Officer, where they continue to contribute their expertise and leadership.

Kim Anderson earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1989 and 1993. Kim then went on to obtain an M.S. in Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1994 to 1996. Kim Anderson also obtained additional certifications, including becoming a Certified Adoption Competent Therapist from the Center for Adoption Support and Education in June 2014, and becoming a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services in February 1998.
