Jim Kamm

Jim Kamm currently serves as the Tax Commissioner and Director of the Nebraska Department of Revenue, having been appointed by Governor Jim Pillen in September 2023. Prior to this role, Jim Kamm was the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from July 2019 to September 2023 and held the position of Interim Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance from November 2021 to May 2022. Kamm has a robust history in banking, including roles as Senior Vice President at First Westroads Bank, Regional Market President at TierOne Bank, and Vice President at First National Bank of Omaha. Early in his career, Kamm gained experience as an Assistant Bank Examiner at the FDIC. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, an MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a Graduate Certificate in Banking from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
