Amol Patil

Amol Patil, MD FCCP, currently serves as the Medical Director of the Neurocritical Care ICU and Pulmonary Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center since July 2011. Additionally, Amol Patil is the Medical Director of Respiratory Services at Nebraska Medicine, starting in December 2022. Previous roles include being an Associate Program Director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship from July 2018 to May 2021, and an Attending Physician at Pulmonary Medicine Specialists LLC for one year. Amol Patil completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from July 2007 to June 2010 and worked as a Medical Officer at the National Neuroscience Institute from June 2001 to May 2004. Educational credentials include an MD in Internal Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin and an MD in Internal Medicine from the University of Mumbai. Areas of expertise encompass pulmonary critical care, neuro-critical care, bronchoscopy, critical care ultrasonography, endobronchial ultrasound-guided bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and ventilator management.
