Sheila Augustine

Sheila Augustine, MHA, FHFMA, has extensive experience in healthcare administration and financial services, currently serving as the Director of Health Information Management, Clinical Documentation Improvement, and Revenue Integrity at Nebraska Medicine since April 2005. Augustine has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Patient Access Operations and Financial Counseling, Director of Patient Financial Services, and Operations Manager in Patient Financial Services, overseeing critical functions such as billing, insurance follow-up, appeals, and transplant billing. Additionally, Augustine will serve as the President of the HFMA Nebraska Chapter for the 2024-2025 term. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Clarkson College and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Business Management from the same institution.
