Tim El-Sheikh

Tim El-Sheikh is an experienced entrepreneur and technologist. Tim began their career in 1998 as a Biomedical Scientist for the NHS. In 2001, they began working as a Freelance Online Systems Architect and Developer and Consultant. That same year, they co-founded Group Senzala Capoeira Midlands, which performed in many high profile theatrical and public events around the UK. In 2004, they co-founded deSciner Business Network Ltd., which generates over 49 million monthly impressions through its member science publishers. In 2012, they founded Scicasts\u00ae - Democratising Science\u00ae, a concept that was born in their student flat involving A. I. In 2018, they were named by EU Startups as one of the 10 startups at the forefront in the fight against fake news and disinformation and became the Director and Chairman of Mindzilla, which is redefining knowledge discovery and the knowledge economy through Science, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. Currently, they are Co-Owner/CEO/Chief Tech Architect of Nebuli.

Tim El-Sheikh completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Sciences from De Montfort University between 1996 and 2000. Tim then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) in Information & Computational Technology from the same university in 2001.
