Masaki Watanabe

Masaki Watanabe is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant Manager and Project Manager in the Data Driven DX Division at NEC Corporation since January 2019. Watanabe has a strong background in data science and machine learning, leading global business development alongside NEC's Executive Director and managing data science PoC projects. Prior to NEC, Watanabe operated a private business and achieved sales of 20 million yen while managing over 22 employees. Earlier roles at Yamaha Corporation included data analytics in the marketing and business planning departments, with responsibilities in market analysis, data management, and decision-making process optimization. Watanabe holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Global Business from Akita International University and has participated in exchange programs at The University of Hong Kong and Monmouth College.
