Tetsuo Murakami

Tetsuo Murakami currently serves as Lead Regulatory Affairs in the Medical Solutions Department at NEC Corporation, with additional responsibilities in Software Quality Assurance, as the Person Responsible for Regulatory Compliance for the EU MDR, and as the responsible individual for Good Clinical Practice education and training. Prior to this role, Tetsuo was the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at the Japanese Organization for Medical Device Development from November 2014 to March 2023, where key positions included marketing supervisor-general of medical devices and domestic quality assurance administrator. Tetsuo’s earlier experience includes regulatory affairs positions at Cook Medical in Japan and Goodman Co., LTD. Tetsuo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology, Clinical Biopharmacy from Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences.
