Chris Stark

Chris Stark has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chris started their career as an Electrician at O'Donnell Griffin, where they performed major works at Queensland Nickel Refinery and handled routine maintenance at the High Voltage workshop. Chris then worked at Ivanhoe Mines as an Electrician. After that, they joined Ergon Energy as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, responsible for High Voltage Switching and general maintenance in substations. Chris then moved to Newcrest Mining, where they held various roles, including Electrical Technician, Trainer, and Business Improvement. Chris'sresponsibilities included conducting maintenance tasks, creating training packages, and researching improvement opportunities. Chris also served as a Technology Consultant at Stark Ingenuity, assisting organizations with innovation, system design, and process improvement. Currently, Chris is working at NECA Education & Careers, taking on roles such as Head of Strategy & Commercialisation and Corporate Services- Innovation & Product Lead. In the future, Chris will be joining Strategy&Ops as an Executive Director.

- Bachelor of Engineering Honors in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland, obtained from 2011 to 2025.

- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business (Entrepreneurship) from the Australian Institute of Business, obtained from 2021 to 2023.

- Graduate certificate in Business Administration and Management from the Australian Institute of Business, obtained in 2022.

- Mini MBA Emerging Technology from the Australian Institute of Management, obtained in 2021.

- CERT IV in Training & Assessment from TAFE NSW Western, obtained in 2014.

- CERT IV Front Line Management from CBD College Sydney, obtained in 2013.

- Certificate III in Electro-technology (Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology) from Pimlico TAFE, obtained from 2004 to 2008.
