Dianna McKinney

State Director Of Community Behavioral Health at NECCO

Dianna McKinney has over 20 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Logistical Analyst in the US Army from 1999 to 2006. Dianna then worked as a Student Intern at YWCA Greater Cincinnati, where they assisted homeless women in finding housing and mental health services. Dianna also conducted research to determine the top-ranked needs of women in the shelter.

After that, Dianna worked at the National Youth Advocate Program as a Treatment Coordinator/Therapist, managing therapeutic foster homes and collaborating with outside agencies. Dianna then joined Talbert House, where they held various positions including Intensive Case Manager, Mental Health Therapist & Substance Abuse Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and Associate Director. In these roles, they developed and implemented treatment programs, managed teams, and ensured compliance with documentation and client care. Dianna also increased staff morale and managed a large-scale budget.

Most recently, Dianna worked as the Director of Clinical Services at Mayo Home for Youth Development, overseeing group home and outpatient programs. Dianna implemented quality assurance measures, secured grant funding for specialized programming, and ensured compliance with accrediting and licensing entities.

Currently, they are the Director of Ohio Behavioral Health at Necco, where they oversee the clinical practices of outpatient behavioral health services across Ohio. Dianna manages behavioral health teams, cultivates relationships with internal service lines and community partners, and supports the agency's strategic plan for growth in outpatient behavioral health services.

Dianna McKinney earned a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from the University of Cincinnati. Later, they pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the same institution. Their field of study throughout their education was Social Work.
