Chris Matthews

Chris Matthews has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Chris started their career in 1991 as a Ship Deckhand at Arctic Alaska Fisheries Corp during their summer break from university. Chris then worked as a Territory Manager at Texonics Inc from 1995 to 1997. Following that, they were an Automation Sales Manager at Eaton Cutler-Hammer from 1997 to 2000. From 2001 to 2006, they held two positions at Siemens Industry US, first as an ACCESS Power Monitoring Regional Marketing Manager and later as an Automation Account Manager. Chris then served as Vice President of Business Development at N-Tron Corporation from 2008 to 2010, where they played a significant role in establishing their China office and increasing sales. After that, they worked as Vice President of Business Development at Red Lion Controls from 2010 to 2012. From 2014 to 2019, they owned and operated their own business called Beertopia Thailand. Most recently, they worked as an Industrial Fluids Site Manager at Quaker Houghton from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Sales Account Executive at NECI since 2022.

Chris Matthews attended Purdue University from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Chris later attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 1997 to 2000, earning an MBA in International Management Studies. In 2009, they took private lessons in Basic Mandarin. No degree or field of study is specified for the Mandarin lessons.
