Steve Hartigan has extensive work experience in various roles related to solution development, automation, and engineering. Steve is currently working at NECI as the Manager of Solution Development, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Solutions Architect - Industrial at NECI from October 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining NECI, Steve was employed at Cabot Corporation as the IT Manager - Automation from March 2012 to October 2019. Steve also worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as an Automation / MES Engineer from November 2008 to March 2012.

Earlier in their career, Steve held the position of Instrument and Controls Engineer at Advanced Energy Systems from April 2005 to November 2008. Prior to that, they worked as an Instrument Engineer at Distrigas from August 1996 to April 2005. Steve began their career as a Technical Apprentice at Colonial Gas Company from August 1992 to September 1995.

Steve Hartigan's education history begins in 1986 when they attended Lowell High School. Steve completed their high school education at Lowell High School in 1990. Following that, from 1990 to 1991, they pursued a field of study in Political Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Steve then returned to the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they studied Civil Engineering from 1991 to 1995 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE). After a significant gap in their education, from 2016 to 2019, Steve earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Data Analytics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Additionally, in August 2022, they obtained a certification in "Outlook: Efficient Email Management" from LinkedIn.
