Óscar Bártulos

Lead Scientist-Cell Therapy at NecstGen

Óscar Bártulos started their work experience as a PhD intern at the International Centre for Life in 2007. Óscar then worked as a PhD student at CSIC from 2004 to 2009. After completing their PhD, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from 2009 to 2011. Óscar then moved to Yale University School of Medicine, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate from 2011 to 2013 and later as an Associate Research Scientist from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Ncardia as a Senior Scientist and worked in that role until 2021. Currently, they are working at NecstGen as a Lead Scientist-Cell Therapy starting from December 2021.

Óscar Bártulos has a diverse educational background in both Biological Sciences and Financial Modelling and Valuation Analysis.

Óscar obtained their Ph.D in Biological Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2009. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the Universidad de Salamanca in 2003.

In 2019, Óscar pursued further education in finance and completed a Certificate in Financial Modelling and Valuation Analysis from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI). Additionally, they obtained certifications in Reading Financial Statements from CFI in December 2018 and a Corporate Finance Professional Certificate from edX in May 2018.

Óscar's academic and professional background demonstrates their expertise in both the sciences and finance, making him a well-rounded individual with diverse knowledge and skills.
