Paul Bilars has a diverse work experience spanning various positions and industries. Paul is currently the CEO of NecstGen since 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at Starfish Innovations starting from April 2017. From April 2016 to April 2019, Paul served as the Co-founder and CEO of VarmX, a spin-off from the Leiden University Medical Center, where they raised significant funding. Paul also held the position of Director Cardiology Center Voorschoten at Cardiologie Centra Nederland from July 2011 to September 2018. At the Leiden University Medical Center, Paul worked as the Managing Director Division 2 from May 2011 to September 2018. Before that, they served in various roles, including Purchase Manager and Logistics Manager a.i. From May 2015 to June 2018, they served as a Supervisory Board Member at ZBC Ouderengeneeskunde. Prior to this, Paul worked at TNT from 2001 to 2006, holding positions such as Marketing Manager, Logistics Manager, and Account Management.
Paul Bilars attended Mendel College from 1989 to 1995 where they completed their Gymnasium education. Paul then pursued further studies at Leiden University from 1995 to 2000 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Law and Public Administration.
