Dr. Najeed Ahmed Khan is an experienced academic and researcher, currently serving as the Focal Point under the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) at HEC-Pakistan since October 2014. Dr. Khan has been associated with NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi since 1997 in several roles including Caretaker - MoST Chair Professor, Editor for the NED University Journal of Research – Applied Sciences, Elected member to the Senate, Executive Officer, and Associate Professor, focusing on research and development. Additionally, Dr. Khan held the position of Associate Professor at the University of Leeds from 1997 to 2014, after attaining a PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Leeds between 2007 and 2011.
