Borjana Keown

Borjana Keown has worked in various roles in the banking and finance industry. Borjana started their career at Hopkinson Associates Limited as a Chief Representative, where they achieved significant sales in catalysts for a petrochemical conglomerate in China. Borjana then moved on to Rand Asia Trade Finance as a Senior Executive Marketing, where they were responsible for obtaining credit approval and managing trade finance facilities. During their time there, they also received a Global Trade Review Award for a metals deal structured across multiple African jurisdictions. Keown later joined Rand Merchant Bank as a Senior Transactor/Deal Maker in the Corporate Banking Division, focusing on trade and working capital. Their most recent role was at Nedbank as the Head of Energy & Metals in the Global Commodity Finance department, where they managed the Energy & Metals segment.

Borjana Keown attended the People's University of China from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics. In 1988-1989, they also completed a Mandarin Language Course at the Beijing Language Institute.
