Head Credit Risk: Special Portfolio at Nedbank

Catrina Le Grange began their work experience in 2005 at KPMG Inc as an Auditor, where they worked until 2008. In 2008, they joined Nedbank as a Credit Manager, responsible for evaluating and monitoring risk within a portfolio across different industries. From 2010 to 2015, Catrina served as a Senior Credit Manager at Nedbank, managing a team of credit managers and assisting in credit decisions. From 2015 to 2018, they took on the role of Senior Credit Manager: Special Portfolio, where they proactively managed high-risk clients and effectively managed a credit and monthly reporting team. In 2018, Catrina was promoted to Credit Executive, and in 2019, they became the Head Credit Risk: Special Portfolio at Nedbank.

Catrina le Grange obtained their Bachelor of Business Science (BBusSc) in Finance, CA Option from the University of Cape Town, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. In 2004, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the same university. Catrina also holds additional certifications such as CA (SA) from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, obtained in December 2007, and a Senior Management Development Programme (NQF Level 8) from Gordon Institute of Business Science, obtained in January 2016. Catrina has also obtained various certifications, including an Executive Development Program from Wharton Executive Education in September 2023, and Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Option B: Building Resilience from LinkedIn in June 2020. Additionally, they are a SARIPA Member of the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association NPC since May 2017.
