Reshmee Budhal

Reshmee Budhal has a strong background in finance, with experience in both banking and auditing. Reshmee began their career as an Audit Trainee at KPMG from 2007 to 2009. Reshmee then moved on to Absa Group, where they worked as a Product Accountant/Controller - Capital from 2010 to 2014. In this role, they were responsible for managing and analyzing P&L reporting, performing controls and reconciliations, and providing support to stakeholders. Since 2014, Reshmee has been with Nedbank, starting as a Senior Financial Manager (Global Markets) in Corporate Investment Banking. Reshmee also held the role of Senior Financial Manager (Virtual Team), where they were part of a special team created to optimize and automate finance processes. Currently, Reshmee is serving as the Head of Finance at Nedbank. Their responsibilities include month-end reporting, balance sheet substantiation, tax returns, and overseeing teams. Overall, Reshmee Budhal has a diverse range of finance experience, with expertise in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis.

Reshmee Budhal obtained a CA(SA) degree from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2010. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce Accounting Honours Degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2006 and a Bachelor of Commerce Accounting Degree from the same university in 2005. In 2021, they completed the Leading Digital Transformation and Innovation Programme at INSEAD.
