Milou van de Water is a Strategisch Adviseur at the Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa) since November 2019, where responsibilities include leading various projects and providing strategic advice. Prior roles encompass Junior Strategisch Adviseur and Voorlichter at Hogeschool van Amsterdam from December 2014 to November 2019, and a Werkstudent at OLVG. Milou has experience in organizing a masterclass on Global Health Diplomacy in collaboration with the Dutch Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs, and participated in the Amsterdam Law Clinic focusing on women's self-determination rights. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws in Health Law from the University of Amsterdam and various minors in Spanish and health interventions from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Milou’s advocacy work includes serving as Advocacy Coordinator for IFMSA-NL and speaking at symposiums on gender-based violence.
